Well, this is me ... writing a blog. Somehow this always happens after a physical activity, talking abt running with Benson just now. And then eating some beans, rice and veg curry(not THAT curry, this is MUCH less spicy, but Nice in a Different way) And Ashutosh just called me right now, and asked me to go ice skating but its a complete waste of time.... and very expensive thats 9 pounds AND ive done it only TWICE! Im not too concerned abt the money but its a waste of time, and im a bit tired after running that much....

Well, whats happened so far?.... Hmmm... yday i went on a trip to the scottish higlands, it was good to do something a bit organized after randomly going to the city and clubs with friends to get piss drunk and laid(hopefully).. a different twist.

Of the several higlights of the trip were, some beautiful art forms on the grass outside the city of glasgow, including grass pyramis, three men of stone, and a beautiful horse looking out into the forest made out of what looks like metal wires, or maybe something else... but REALLY beautiful nonetheless..And after that the other highlight of the trip was when we went to a village in the highlands where the origin for the james bond charecter arose... thats also quite nice, and we spent some time at the beach next to it where i picked up this shell .. i think ill draw something on it later ...

we also went to many other places but im getting bored n tired (must be the running) so im just going to putpics and have u guess what happened...

haha ,,, i call this one "when the guards are gone" . which was tough cos it was a busy day ...

this happened in a prison/museuem in a small higland town, which scotland is apparently very proud of .. dont ask me, it was small, it was quite useless to say the least. this was the main attraction there, and this .

then there was .... the lake ofcourse, which was a huge letdown cos it was freezing...(-10) might be better in the summer some pics in and around the lake ...

thats all for now ... ill leave u with this pic of me n my friend ROCKING IT at a club downtown!
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH! :p ahh.. ill just post them all, what the hell am i doing now anyway ...

this taking an awful lot of time ... im just going to put them on picassa add comments and add all of them

Long time no blog .... :)

Just back from my french class and before that, a trip to kochi .. went to spend time with my cus meera since i probably wont be seeing her for a long long time, my course and hers being exxtttrremely busy ....

since i was in kochi without any definate plan i tagged along to a wedding in trivandrum , and got a chance to meet many cousins, uncles etc.. a good thing ...

french is a VERY weird language. Infact, the teacher in our class hinted that they like it that way.

For example :

1. Several words were initially like english, similar spelling and pronunciation etc , but they intentionally complicated it so that it wouldnt be like english !! who does that?! .. mad ppl ... and ive also heard that theyr extremly snobbish and v particular abt ppl speaking their language.
Two words for them : Global Village . either that or Free Market.. Best of luck with that ...

2. I prefer german. the numbers make sense. it's like english. that may seem like a biased point of view, but read on...

In german , like english eleven and twelve are different from the other numbers between 10 and 20, as in they have nothing to do with 1 and 2.
In french, till abt 16 it follows one rule and for some reason 17 .. follow another.

German : Like eng, after 20 and till kazillion all the numbers follow a ceratin pattern. (As in twenty one = ein(one) und(and) zwanzig(twenty))
Even hundred is a good old "hundert". All sensible languages have this rule, hindi, tamil and malayalam do anyway.
In Bloody Francais: Till about sixty some order is maintained. But after 70 it all goes berserk!! Its like they forgot what seven eight and nine are!!!
70 is sixty and ten!! 71 is sixty and 11!! u get the idea... At this point I gave them the benefit of the doubt, they probably had an ancient "sexadecimal"
number system or something..... wait......
eighty is no not eight(derivative)ten nor even 60 + 20!!! it is 4 * 20!!!
My mouth at this time touched the floor and i think the girl next to me noticed... I was full of mixed feelings towards this language, having been forced to learn it..
Im sure that in a few years when im signing a bloody cheque for something thousand eighty two euros ill screw it up!!
DIE FRENCHIES!!

Anyway, Im back now and things look much saner. .. I will now proceed to play abss for abt an hour or so...
Songs:
James Jamerson - Ill search for on utube, one of my fav bass artists, this guy ahs soul.

Limp Bizkit - Almost over (love the song) and any other song with good bass... Ok it doesnt have a "great" bass line. wuite a simple one but with a good tone...

Eric Clapton - Layla and cocaine, which ive already started working on, it has weird bass lines.. ive started making my own versions of it...

Political outrage and social awareness? Or, a random bunch of loonies?? Rammstein definitely walks the line. Their 2005 concert Volkerball would certify that. An awe-inspiring show of great industrial music with the staple pyrotechnics and lights, with random acts of lunacy certainly pushed my buttons right... The highlight of the show for me would be Links , Los and Main Teil.

Mein Teil, a song based on a recent act of cannibalism in germany had the singer dressed up as a butcher leading a pot on wheels from backstage. Well equipped with a mic cleverly dressed as a knife and a flame thrower in the other hand, he then proceeded to flame the cauldron, with the keyboardist inside. Anybody familiar with Rammstein stageshows would know that keyboardist : , is the butt of many of their elaborately staged pranks and hoaxes. The show carried on with A chasing a now, on fire ,B with the knives in hand and singing "Es ist mein teil!' "Das ist mein teil!"

An awesome performance by the bunch of germans who will not back down and insist on putting up incredible shows each time...
